Blue Tooth wireless cell phone headset tests.
These are a variety of tests done by a friend of mine, Todd, and myself (Ed) trying to find the best Blue Tooth headset on the market. Some of the criteria that was looked at in the headsets:
1) Noise - this is an obvious must but finding one that was quite especially during driving was not an easy chore. After hearing the tests, I think you will find which one did the best during driving situations.
2) Size - this is more of a want than a must but it is a consideration. A headset that sat inside of the ear as opposed to going over the ear was more desirable.
3) Cost - obviously the cheaper the better. Because as you will see in the following tests, more expensive does not mean a better headset.
These first seven tests were done by Todd while driving using a Motorola MPX 220.
These next tests are done by Ed in varying situations with a Motorola E815.
After all this testing has been done, I felt that the Plantronics 510 was the best. It can be found at www.newegg.com for $55, including shipping.
